Jon McMullen began his career as a session musician and audio engineer, honing his skills by touring internationally and working in some of the most iconic studios across the UK and US. This foundation shaped him into a calm, thoughtful, and highly skilled professional—equally adept technically and musically—making him a versatile asset in any recording session.

In 2021, Jon produced Wet Leg’s breakout single, Chaise Longue. The track catapulted the band into global recognition, earning them a record deal with Domino and playing a significant role in their journey to win multiple Grammys. This milestone also skyrocketed Jon’s reputation as a sought-after record producer, attracting projects from across the globe.

Jon’s credits span an impressive array of acclaimed artists, including Michael Kiwanuka, CHAMPS, Jessica Winter, Hurray for the Riff Raff, MOULD, FEET, and Fionn Regan. He is currently based in South London, where he continues to craft records that shape modern music.
